The Orioles 18u Black team is off to a 2-0 start in the Black Swamp tournament by putting out the Cincinatti Flames (10-5) and beating a premier Michigan team A. Green Baseball (2-1).

In beating A. Green Baseball, the Orioles came up with stellar defensive plays by Devin Ahart and Alex Thielman while Mike Ferguson and Josh pierce provided several double plays as the middle infield combination.

Drew Mahler and Devin Ahart provided much of the offensive power in the 10-5 route over the Cincinatti Flames.  Devin's 5th inning Grand Slam home run put the game out of reach putting the Orioles record at 2-0 after day 1 at the Black Swamp.

There are two games scheduled for Friday and 1 game Saturday before the championship/elimination rounds begin.
