Showcase Events & Exposure Camps

Our college showcases and exposure camps are well recognized and respected by the athletic community. These events draw recruiters and college coaches from every division level and all over the Midwest to evaluate the talent we bring to these events. The showcases and exposure camps are ran in a professional-style atmosphere to create a sense of competition while showing off your athletic skills and abilities. The events are designed to demonstrate your strengths in the areas that matter most to recruiters and college coaches which are foot speed, bat speed and arm speed.

What’s the difference between showcases and exposure camps?

Our showcases and exposure camps are relatively similar. They both attract college coaches and recruiters from every division level and from Midwest locations. Both are designed to demonstrate your athletic abilities in foot speed, bat speed and arm speed which are vital to your evaluation to compete at the next level. However, camps are a more comprehensive experience since they include live game-play and more activities during the event than a regular showcase would. So which one is right for you? It’s completely up to you! Exposure Camps allow you to demonstrate your abilities in live-game situations while showcases simply execute the fundamentals in which you are ultimately evaluated on at the next level.

Aspiring Athletes is hosting the 2011 Midwest Prospect ID Camps across the Great Lakes Region over the summer months!

Each one day camp will be run by College Coaches from all levels, some of the committed Colleges to our MPI Camps this summer are Ohio State, Cleveland State, Akron, Youngstown State, Butler, Oakland, Cincinnati, Western Michigan Clarion, LaRoche, Henry Ford Community College, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan and Pittsburgh with more following. This is a great opportunity to showcase your talents to College Coaches in the region and improve your skills on the field.

We will also be producing individual videos for each camper that will be posted online for your recruiting use. This will be one of the best opportunities of the summer to work with and learn from some of the best baseball minds in the region!

Video Examples

Included in your showcase registration fee is a skills video. These videos will be taken the day of the event and highlight your specific positions. The video will come fully edited and posted on our Prospect Finder site for all college coaches, recruiters and talent scouts to see!

Are skills videos are important?

Yes, skills Videos are a very important part of the recruiting process in todays age. Having a skills videos gives you an opportunity to showcase your talents and skills to college coaches and recruiters who may have not had the chance to see you perform live. Many times the coaches are limited to attending showcase due to time constraints and distance so this gives them chance to see you no matter where you are!

Your video will be hosted on our recruiting website called The Prospect Finder (www.theprospectfinder.org). College coaches and recruiters from all over the nation will be able to search you out based on several criteria. Whether they are looking for a particular position or graduation year, they will have all this information right in front of them. This technology benefits the athletes and gives them an advantage over someone who may not have a skills video and making yourself much more visible to talent scouts.
