FAQ's
How do I become a member?
The membership program is for those athletes who decide to get the access to the year around training experience. Training currently happens once a week and only for 10 weeks; we want to provide a more comprehensive training under a small group setting during three seasons a year moving forward. For making this commitment you will receive many upfront materials and equipment to experience your training at its highest level. In addition to that, you will receive exponential savings to all other services we offer within Aspiring Athletes.
Where can I register to participate?
We are only accepting a limited number of athletes in these academies year one and are taking sign-ups starting July 1, 2011. Those who register early will have the first opportunity to book their training slots prior to the training being open up to the general public. You can call in today to make arrangements to participate in the 2011-2012 season.
How long is my membership good for?
12 Months from the date of purchase, regardless of when you initiate your membership.
Can I register just for a single session and not the entire year?
Yes, however you will not be a member at that time which will also make you ineligible for exclusive discounts and benefits offered to members.
What ages are eligible for the Academy?
Only athletes ages 18U-12U are allowed in the program. Anyone younger than 12 must be evaluated to ensure proper mental and physical maturity.
When is the training offered?
You will have access to 3 training sessions.
High School Ages will receive a 12 week winter session, 8 week summer session, 10 week fall session.
14 and below will receive a 12 week winter session,10 week fall session and 8 week spring session.
Do I have to attend every session or every day?
We would love to think players love training that much but with other sports and family commitments we know this will not be the case. You will have the ability and set your own training schedule that fits your schedule for all sessions. There is more flexibility than ever with better private attention between you and the instructors.
How many people will be in each training group?
There will be a 15 Players maximum limit per hour of training, with minimum of 3 instructors. In summer session numbers may grow to 20-25 players but more trainers will be placed on the field of play to instruct.
When is the deadline for early registration perks?
The deadline for early registration perks will be August 31, 2011. For customers who take advantage of this perk you will receive 35 weeks of training for the price of 30. We will be conducting a short 5 week fall session of training prior to full launch of programming in November of 2011.
Do I have to play within Aspiring Athletes Club Teams to become a member?
No, not at all. We are truly focusing our energy into these academies regardless of who you play for and what team you are on for the summer. We want to focus on what we do best, player development!
How is training going to be run?
We will be offering four different facets of training: Hitting, Pitching, Catching, and Speed / Agility. Athletes will receive an academy membership swipe card to check into Aspiring Athletes events or training. Players will be monitored and their progression will be published every month to players and parents.
How much does it cost?
$78/Monthly or $900/Year for over 300 Hours of academy access.
Where will the academies be located?
The Clubhouse | North Royalton, OH
Force Indoor Sports (Northfield) | Warrensville Hts., OH
Hall of Fame Sports | Canton, OH.
Are trainers going to be certified?
Yes, each session will have at least one head trainer who must be certified to conduct class within our academy structure. Many of our current instructors are going through the certification process as we speak.
Can I go to any academy to receive training?
Yes, once you purchase a membership you can receive training at any facility you choose.
